School board gave final approval for the new scoreboard last night, and the check to start building it is going to Dactronics today. Gonna be a nice one. ;D

The screen will be the same size, and have the same capabilities, but as far as the design of it, each one is different according to how it is ordered. My thinking on it is it will be just as big, but the layout for advertising will be different I am sure. From what the Daktronics rep said in the meeting, the technology for the screen has improved since Weslaco put theirs in, so the picture should be a little better, but we probably won't be able to notice a difference.
